I am just thrilled with some of the new features in the Picnik application that has beed added to Flickr. Look what I did with a photo I took of myself over the weekend. I guess I have turned into a take your own picture nerd. There was no one else around to snap the photo or photos, so I did it myself. Then after uploading the photo, I did some editing in Picnik.
Flickr was experiencing some hiccups today and I love that they used that terminology to explain why access to Flickr was limited. I am glad a site is finally honest and straight forward that there is a bump going on and be patient.
Last but not least, I came across an interesting article in yahoo
" Youth vs. adults in gadget wars" I feel like I can relate to this, but I think I also foster my mom to be open minded to technology. I helped my mom set up a myspace page and others her age ask me why my mom has a page and I just respond why not. So many folks address myspace based upon their ignorance to it. If you logged in and joined and gained an understanding, there would be a lot less misconceptions of the site along with other social networking sites and web 2.0 technologies and other gadgets!
